Since these balls were designed to be less corrective than our Ultimate Straight, we were able to raise aerodynamic lift just a bit, so these balls will fly higher in general, and ball flight should be fairly typical with your standard driver.
The resulting ball flight will result in a higher trajectory and longer carry distances than our Ultimate Straight golf balls – hence the designation “XD” for Extra Distance (relative to our Ultimate Straight).

Very Positive. I use the XDS balls on most non-Par 3 holes. I use the XS balls on Par 3 holes and very tight non-Par 3s. Actually made a Hole-In-One on August 26, 2024 using a Polara XS ball (I have already reported it through your web page's hole-in-one feature). When I am not playing in my league or a scramble event, I always use the Polara balls.

The XDS balls play very similar to regular golf balls. I have found that they tend to go about the same distances as regulation balls (Titleist, Callaway, Srixon) and they do fly straighter - at least for me. Now, if Polara could only invent a ball to correct for hitting them fat, thin, etc.... that would be great!!

The Polara XDS definitely straightened out my slice, but the loss of distance is noticeable. However, this seems to be a fair trade since hitting from the fairway as opposed to the rough makes for a more enjoyable game. The ball had nice spin when chipping onto the putting green. Big issue for me is durability as these golf balls are expensive.
